  • Provide Forman recognition

Encourage worker involvement and participation by management, supervision, and workforce.  Commitment and support from all DVS trained workers is needed in order for DVS to maintain this level of performance and achieve our goals of Zero & Beyond.

EMPLOYEE & EMPLOYER RIGHTS UNDER OSHA

Picture this:  You are at your workplace and a coworker points out a safety hazard.  They are hesitant to inform the leadership team so you bring it up at a safety meeting or tailgate.  Management is appreciative of the information and requests that future near hits are reported right away.  They also explain that as an employee, it is your right to report unsafe practices and conditions, no matter how small they may be, or if it feels like you are telling on another worker.

Join us soon at our next lunch and learn where we will discuss the rights and responsibilities of employees and employers, as well as the importance of working together to remain OSHA & MSHA compliant.

SAFETY PAYS MAKE SAFETY WORK FOR YOU!!!!!

We strongly believe that companies who properly manage their worker's safety and health through OSHA & MSHA required safety training and safety programs are positioned to operate more efficiently, through increased worker retention and lower risk of OSHA & MSHA citations, which typically results in a healthier bottom-line profit, but don't take our word for it.  The National Safety Council reported that studies show for every $1 that an employer invests in safety, a $3 to $6 return on investment is realized!!  Let DVS help your company improve your company's safety and health program through our OSHA compliance consulting services as well, OSHA compliance is not only a good idea... it's the law!!
